Quano is pround to present their first 12” release from Noiseshaper, taken from the Dub Selector compilation. ‘The Only Redeemer’ is a deep soul gem from the Berlin-based duo of Axel Hirn and Flo Fleishman, and features the sultry vocals of Vido Jelashe. Combining live instrumentation with electronic atmospheres, Noiseshaper creates an ethereal soundtrack to a lazy afternoon. Frankfurt’s Needs crew come through with a 4 to the floor house mix, already causing damage on dancefloors worldwide. Needs have been developing a solid reputation as purveyors of deep music, through their productions for their own label, as well as a host of mixes for Ian Pooley, KemeticJust, and others.

Cottonbelly is the alter ego of Stuart Mathewman, best known for his work with Sade’s band, Sweetback. With his mix, Mathewman fuses equal parts dub and house, for a stunning result. Look out for more Cottonbelly action in the near future.

Finally, Birmingham’s G-Corp offer a more rootical take on the original, stepping deeper into the ambient dub side of things. G-Corp have had great success adding their remix touch to artists like Bob Marley, Sly and Robbie, and Luciano.
